FIY: If you contact the post office they will hold the package for you to pick-up. If you moved a long distance that may not be an option. I was less than 50 miles away so it wasn't too bad.

USPS is excellent at both forwarding and returning. Just received 2 "Return to Sender, forwarding address unknown letters in the last week.
