I can't find the opening for the "pad sleeve". I can feel that there are two layers of fabric, but I don't see the opening to slide the pad in.

I'm assuming I'm blind. Can someone help me out?

Thanks!

Also, is it normal for them to come with stains on the body? Here's a picture:

What is the hammock and where did you get it. I hope they didn't charge extra for the stains.

I have an email in to Tom. Mistakes happen, I just hope it can be resolved.

Same thing happened to me, I emailed Tom and he straightened it out.
His customer service is excellent.

The one with the sleeve has a zipper opening on the inside up next to the channel. The zipper opening is approx 7" from the channel. Seems like this will make it hard to get the pad in now that I have switched my webbing to rope and cinched it down.

I'm sure Tom will make it right. If he does, he'll have earned a lot of business as well. I'm sort of the "hammock guinea pig" for my friends and family lol :)

I was in the same boat as Pilgrim. When I got the second one I looked all over the outside for the sleeve pocket. I was almost sure I got the wrong one again and was just about to email Tom about it when something told me to "look inside".

I unzipped the bug net and there it was. The sleeve is on the inside.......:o

I don't know how the old ones were sewn, was the sleeve opening on the inside? Was it zippered? Mine has a nice little sundry bag sewed in it also.
It is a well made hammock.

Also, when I first got my No Net, I had to look real hard to figure out where the sleeve was, to find the spot where the two layers separate. For a while, I thought it was sewn together. But I finally found it, and since I opened it up the first time, it has always been easy to find.

Just in case there is a chance that you just have not found it. But most likely you got one of the sewn models like Neo said.

I've looked it over pretty well, and actually crawled inside it on my hands and knees, and I don't see any openings. Thanks for the advice though.

My replacement hammock showed up and it's perfect! Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to trying the hammock out (hopefully tonight). I'm sure I'll have a "first hang" type post to put up very soon.
