What is the source for this device? That would likely be a good thing for a longer hike, esp with the weather function.

I carried a CC Radio/ Sangean radio......Weighs less than 5 oz with batteries, Weather/ TV/ AM/ FM, FAR from cheap purchase price, but they make a radio that is rivaled by few...... The reception on this pocket sized is, to make an understatement, impressive..............
