my dd hammock with mods
1.new loops
2.lighter elastic cord
3.velcro closer to hold bottom closed.
4.alumnium cam arrow shaft net spreaders
5.ring buckle suspension
all i need now are some snake skins:cool:neo

Neo, you should have picked up the "skins" that were on clearance at hammocks.com last week. Of course, they weren't camo, so I'm not sure if they would have done the trick for you.

nope i fixed this hammock up as a spare.its kinda short even for me at 5ft 7:cool:neo

Really odd how it is too short for you at 5' 7" and I'm 6' 2" and can sleep in one fine. :confused: I would like it to be just a little longer but I fit fine and donut wake up sore.

my neck is kinda touchy from an injury in boot camp.short hammocks give me a neck ache:cool:neo

Where is the article on how to do the ring mod? I have a DD that I've had for over a year now, and want to do this mod, and loan it out, as needed. Let me know. Thanks!!!

Thanks slowhike, I was looking at Neo's pics, and it looks like he ran a length of what appears to be climbing rope through the ends of his hammock though. The whole buckle thing, I am going to do this week; I was just wondering what he used on the ends of the hammock.
