I was talking with Stormcrow and others during Trail Days about the advantages of the asymmetric side pull out on the Hennessy design. Due to patent laws, these handy features cannot be installed directly by manufacturers (although there are work-arounds).

This mod is something I stumbled on last night, although I did find that other entrepreneurial spirits were talking about it a month ago (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51416). Here's an illustration that shows how it works using the DutchWare clip-on tarp pull-outs. Brilliant!

I have additional photos on my blog (http://bit.ly/LEHzfO).

I haven't been able to get my wife overly interested in hammocks. She's a bit clausterphobic and last time she layed down in my ENO the material was flopping in her face - not good. A clip-on pull out rigged like you've show may be just the ticket to solving that little problem...

Steve, check out the BMBH from Jacks R Better. I was in my UL last night and was very impressed with how far away the netting was from my face.
