I made snakeskins for both of our new tarps. I went the single method instead of two skins. I used some extra material I had from making on of my tarps. I'll post pics later on. My wife is in bed and I'm not going in there to get the tarp. She will throw the cat at me, the cat will blame me for it and pee in my shoe or somthing.. :lol:

ACK. I didnt think of that. I put my hammock on the top shelf of my closet. She can't get to it now. :lol:
I would have posted pics by now. We have had a family emergency. Which has sparked an idea. I will post on it soon. I just need to contact some people and a couple of companies first.
yay! I finally got pics of my snakeskin for my Kelty Noah tarp. The bag in the picture with it is the tarp bag I made as well. I'm not sure what the material is but I was going to use it for a hammock. It turned out that the material wasnt wide enough. Oh well. I found a use for it.
I'm not sure why but my camera has all of a sudden decided to take blurry pictures. I'll see if I can fix that.

Yep that is the Noah 12. I cut the material to be 11ft long and 11 inches wide with a 1/2 seam. I also put 1 inch loop on one end and ran cord through it with a cord lock on it. That way I can close it up. The end that stays on the line (my foot end) has been tapered down to have a 1 inch hole.
This is basically it. The 2 inch makes a 1 inch loop when sewn up. The the other end is where I put the 1 inch loop to put cord through it with a cord lock.
