Hey everyone, been lurking around here for a few weeks. Just wanted to introduce myself and say what a great site this is. there has been a wealth of information for a newbie like myself. I was introduced to hammocking a while ago but never got to serious about it. my last ground trip was just that my last....Dont think i have ever had such an uncomfortable night sleep and hope that it will be my last....
I decided being a DIY'er to build my own system and have been poking around for a bit. thinking of a bridge hammock but i am sure i will play with a few different designs until i find the most comfortable for me.
thanks for the great information and curious to know if there are any other hangers in the lower NY area here? I see a couple from PA not to far from me. was also looking for some feedback for areas that area hammock friendly in the catskill area....looking forward to hearing back from you folks and being able to share my adventures both good and bad.
