Do you just hang it tight or do you need to hang it with a certain amount of sag? I have never heard anyone mention using a ridgeline with a Clark.

It needs some sag to be comfortable and stable. In an email Clark sent me they indicated that the best way to tell was to connect it to the tarp as the directions state and then adjust the suspension until the netting stands up nicely. Any more sag and it will start to cave in at the top. Too little and the netting will get droopy at the bottom and corners.
I imagine you could construct a structural ridgeline without too much difficulty.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I do have a question about my Clark and for some reason I can't start a new thread. Anyway, the tabs that are supposed to be used for staking it out on the ground...has anyone tied shock cord off to all four of these to get a little extra spread? I'm planning on trying it next week on my kayak trip unless someone advises against it. Thanks guys.
