View Full Version : DD Mesh Hammock as storage shelf

I've recently bought the DD travel hammock.

I was concerned about lack of storage space (as opposed to the WBBB or Clark range) and was advised to get the DD mesh hammock and hang that above or below the Travel hammock.

Has anyone else done this? I'd like to find out if it's better above or below the hammock? What about making it a permanent addition or storing it in the same sleeve, for ease of setup?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Thanks for the pics Storo!

I went out earlier for a test-hang. I left it too late though because it got dark before I'd finished setting up ha ha!

I had the mesh hammock attached - in a rudimentary way - to the same 'biners as the hammock suspension and I kinda got it to work bit it was a little close. Having it further down, as in your pictures, is certainly more elegant but I'm trying to find a way to get the hammock and gear hammock to inhabit the same hammock sleeve and use the same 'mooring set up' so I don't have to think about it, it'll just be there already.

I'm nearly there, if I can just get enough time during daylight hours to hang it and tweak thinhs I should figure it out.

I'll post pictures when I do =D)
