Hey fellow hangers...I have a question to ask on behalf of a friend. He uses a Jungle Hammock from Claytor and is asking which underquilt is the best fit for his setup. My buddy is 6ft 2in, about 190 lbs, backpacks in temps that could bottom out around 15 degrees, and is looking for light weight and compact. He uses a down sleeping bag instead of a top quilt so he'll probably need a full length UQ. Any suggestions?

The JRB Mt washington 3 UQ will excell on that hammock, or any other single camping hammock for that matter... Solid performance to 20*...Some report pushing it further.

There is a true winter model the MW4 if zero or a little below is where on wants to go.

Like always they are in stock...Christmas delivery is no problem for USA.

I used a JacksRBetter quilt and under quilt when I had a Jungle Hammock, worked just fine. They didn't have the shorter, lighter weight Greylock quilts at the time. Right now I use a Greylock 3 underquilt with a Clark Hammock. Works for me at 5' 6" tall, but at 6' 3", he may need to go to the full length Mt Washington quilts.
