It's time to begin the planning for the Spring Mahha at Pine Grove Furnace State Park on April 26-28, 2013.

Thanks for your efforts in putting this together.
Unless someone else wants to take it on (& cool if that’s the case), I’d like to offer Name Tag Services again this year? After the event last year I received a lot of positive feedback, most of which saying that the tags were a good souvenir or memento. With that in mind, I have a couple of ideas for a 2013 layout just to keep it interesting for those collecting these things??

I'll be organizing the Saturday Potluck Dinner. Sign up now for anything you want to bring. People have already started. :) I'll be bugging everyone closer to the date of event for the last items needed.

I'm hoping to make this my first group hang. I will sign up later as the date nears and I get the ok from the boss.
I've thought about hiking the AT from Caledonia to Pine Grove Furnace sometime....this might be a good opportunity.

The hike from Caledonia to PGF is a nice, fairly easy stroll in the woods. ;)

You have my vote! You are good at that....I think you would have everyone's vote to do it again. There are always new faces, name tags make the socialization happen easier.

Looking forward to celebrating my 30th Birthday with a bunch of hammock enthusiasts.

I think it would be a great idea to have a pig roast for the Saturday night feeding. I believe someone else mentioned it in a thread somewhere that they might know someone who does this service? Anyone have info on pig roasting? Costs? Worth checking it out.

A Northbound hike in sounds great....what about a longer hike from Gathland into Pine Grove????? I think my work schedule will allow this, but I will be more certain closer to March. MML, Two Tents, 2Tall...anyone?? :D

Yep, had to step down. I haven't been on the forums as much as in the past. Departmental reorganizations at work and a few new projects will be keeping me pretty busy for the next few months.
So we need a new Potluck organizer! The spreadsheet makes it easy to track what is needed. I'll exchange emails with the new person if you have any questions. Ain't bad work if you can get it. :)

All in. Had an amazing time last year. Definately in for pre, post, or both hike from the hang. Has anyone started a thread for this yet?

I really, really want to make this my first hang... But that's my (first) anniversary weekend. I'm sure she'd say 'yes' if I asked, but I'm not sure I want to ask.
My schedule is somewhat unpredictable, but I will try hard to make this my first hang.
Looking forward to meet you fellow hangers and also to learn a thing here and there.

Is there going to be a spreadsheet for everyone attending? The spreadsheet now seems to be for everyone who will be bringing food and such for the cook out. It will be helpful to know how many people are attending so we will know how many plates, sodas, and etc. to bring. I can hardly wait for the hang and just want to help everyone have a great time.
