There really isn't a perfect place to post this, so if this is no good, mods, please feel free to move it.
I hesitate to put this up, since I only have a few posts here, but really it's all about timing. This community at HF has been good to me over the years and this is an opportunity to say thanks. Some of you may know I founded End2End Trail Supply back in 2007. Well, I finally decided it wasn't worth slogging through a tough economy anymore, so we closed on 3/14/2003. As a thank you I would like to give away some new gear in a contest on Monday, 3/18/2003. I will post here 9PM Monday night(EST), and the contest is going to be fast! I will be giving away three prizes: (1) A Gram Weenie PRO stove package w/ fuel bottle, windscreen, and Evernew Titanium mug, (2) an original Gram Weenie w/ fuel bottle, windscreen, and RARE/discontinued 8cm (10ounce) aluminum mug, and finally (3) a Stanco Grease pot w/ cozy and Vargo pot grabber. I'll be picking up the shipping too, so it's totally free!
See you on Monday and Good Luck!!:shades:
that stinks man ... but at least i know why your site is down now :(
i got stuff from you in the past and always had nothing but good things to say when asked about your service ...
Good luck in the future :)

I hate it for you man! It's really tough out there. I hate in ever got the change to give you any business. I wish you luck in the future!
So Sad.
I still use my gram weenie pro to this day. I remember when you first came out with it and had a contest on BPL for the naming of it. I still have one of your original (2007) gram weenie's as well. In fact, come to think of itI bought both of them in 2007 right as you were starting up, ....Man has it been that long already...Boy times sure have changed since then..your making me feel old. :scared:
I'll guess I'll have to stop using the stove and just put them on the shelf, so in 20 years I can pull them out and show them to people and say hey remember when these were around....and everybody will go....ooohhh ahhhhh. :boggle:
Best wishes in your new endeavors, what ever they may be.

I hadn't heard about your stove, but seeing this made me check out some reviews. That is a very nice piece of kit, I'll definitely be back here on Monday.
The economy is tough, but it's good to see that you're still keeping your life moving. Good luck with your future ventures.
I'm sorry to hear that another vendor of high quality backpacking gear will be gone.
We wish you all the best in the future.
I really appreciate your example of how tightly knit this community is between customers and vendors, with a single purpose in mind.

Sad to see a great vendor go, each and every time I've ordered from George it set the standard of what to expect from others.
Hope you enjoy the fruits of your hard work, and looking forward to seeing your adventures unfold. Thanks for all you have done and good luck sir.....

Sorry to see a cottage vendor shut down. It reinforces my commitment to buy my gear from those who make it along with those who run their businesses themselves. I've been self employed for the past 25 years & know the feeling.

+1 to this. If anything your experiences will make folks like SnrMoment and myself to go out of our way to buy from cottage vendors.
So sorry to hear about this...it must be hard. I only wish the best.
Never got the chance to try any of your products. Best wishes for the future.

Tonight at 9 PM I'll be giving away some gear as promised. Since the mods moved this thread here I will post here under Other Vendors and Services at 9 PM. The title of the thread will be "E2E Giveaway Contest". Here's how it will work:
I have three prizes to give away, so I will ask three different questions, one at a time. I'll ask the first and after that winner I'll ask the second and so forth.
1) I will ask each question in the body of the thread. Your answer MUST be posted in the post title only. Answers in the body of the post will not count. I know you will have to put characters in the body to get the post work, but again the answer must be in the title.
2) One guess per poster per question. You can win multiple items.
3) You'll be able to quickly tell if there is a winner b/c I will post a picture of the prize in the BODY of the text, along with the next question.
Here's what's at stake:
