Requesting any feedback/reviews from anyone who has purchased DD underquilt, and for which hammock have you used it on?

I am also really interested to hear a review on the DD Underquilt. It looks neat...
I have one and plan on doing a review at some point, a lot of folk over here in the uk love them but tbh I don't think I do.
Weight is 1.3kg in compression sack.
I think it is 1.95m long and not sure about width but it is a weird shape, like a rugby ball (I suppose a football to you guys) with the pointy ends chopped off.
Suspension is through channels on the sides with a cord lock in the middle of the quilt, I found it to be awkward adjusting tension from the middle as the quilt begins to bunch.
The ends have webbing loops and a couple of short lengths of shock cord loosely attached, and there are no instructions so I don't really know how snugpak intend them to be used, most folk I've seen attach these pieces with the side shock cord to tge hammock suspension though.
It is not differentially cut so it cannot be over tightened without compromising the insulation.
It took me around 40mins to get it adjusted to a point I felt comfortable with the coverage and tension.
Because of the strange shape of the quilt I also found it to be difficult getting the quilt to kind of wrap around me.
On the plus side it is relatively cheap and has kept me warm to 0ºc and I hace read of people sleeping comfortably to -10ºc or so with a sleeping bag.
I use a diy end channel hammock.
For more information and reviews I would check out the uk bushcraft forums, there is much more from people with more time using this than me.

Thanks for the overview, I am looking forward to seeing your video review.
So you are using the underquilt with a DIY channel hammock. I wonder if the wierd shape will make it sit better with my DD frontline hammock.
craige, how much of that 1.3 kilo is the stuff sack weight, please?

Aren't the dd hammocks end channel as well? Not sure of width or lay etc but I was sure they had channels??

Just weighed it, 104g according to my kitchen scales. Not sure how much is shock cord that is unnecessary as well but I will figure out how I'm gonna do it and post here.

Not so sure I'll be doing a video review, probably just pics and an in detail report of my thoughts on it. I might try, though I've never done a video before so chances are it will suck so I probably won't post it!
I've used one for about 5 years.
Materials/finish: Top notch, Snugpak make good bags.
Weight: Too heavy/bulky for backpacking but for standard UK style bimbles into woods or car camping it's fine.
Design: The asym-tieouts for use with HH are a nice touch, the method they chose to deal with the ends is less than perfect. It does the job once you have it dialed in.
I've used it pretty much exclusively with a Nomad Land Hammock, which along with the DD was one of the main hammocks used in the UK by bushcraft types. It's basically a large parachute material hammock available under several names that comes with metal s hooks and a built in bag, you know the type...
I've had plenty of warm nights in it, never used it below say 4-5 deg C
If I was US based I'd put the money that would go on shipping this UQ from the UK and potential customs charge towards one from a US company, but it made more sense for me to buy this than import something myself.

That's what I thought. I was trying to check it at work and sometimes things are blocked, but obviously not the case here.
