Been trying to get more into the Hammock scene and need some company. Anyone in the area around Augusta, GA -Columbia, SC want to hang!?
There's quite a few people that enjoy hanging in your area. :) Check out the Goat Island Hang coming up in May...it's on Lake Greenwood, which I don't think is too far from you.

Yep, that's another one relatively close by...but please tell me it's the 1st weekend in April, not the 2nd? I've had my eyes on this hang hoping to be able to attend. I won't know until closer to the date, but definitely won't be able to attend the 2nd weekend in April,

Pay NO attention to JB Ranger. The hang is April 5-7.
Sweet!...that's what I thought, but wanted to verify. I'm hoping to make it...will know for sure the week before.

I'm from augusta. Most of my friends tent camp but I'm always in the hammock. We are going to Lick Fork Lake masters weekend and you are more than welcome to join us

I am actually doing a section of the AT during Master's week from Franklin, NC to Fontana Dam. It'd be cool to meet up sometime afterwards though!
