What are they for? I use a sliding type knot for tension and have no idea how to use the little black plastic things the line goes through. :confused:

Do you mean the tensioner thingies?

If yes, you just use the bottom loop closest to the tail end.

AH! They come inline and not looped so I had no idea. I have been tying a sliding knot instead of using those. Thanks!

This is how I use them. Not exactly as they were intended but work very well if you use a line with a little 'texture' to it like the Nite-Ize line.
A lot of adjustability used this way.

Learn somethin' every day on here. :) Been staring at those things on various lines since I was a kid - good to finally know how they are intended to work!
