This tarp arrived fast. I can believe how small and light it is. Set it up today, had alittle rain fell on it. Wife checked it out now she wants one. Dang.

Congratulations.... and maybe you can give yours to the wife... he, he.

That was joking, but now that I think about it, it is mother's day tomorrow. Dang again.

I've been trying to decide between the Big Daddy and the tadpole. I just need to decide how much coverage I need/want.

I could not decide either but wound up with the Tadpole. I hope to have an OMW before summer is over

Yes I went the same route wanting to buy the tadpole, then spent the extra and got the Big Daddy instead.

I went the tadpole route, but got the 144" version for more coverage. Marty is awesome! Great customer service

Congrats! I had to decide between the Tadpole & Big Daddy as well. Thanks to advice found here, I opted for the larger Big Daddy (to hopefully offset any rookie mistakes). I haven't been able to hang in the rain yet, but I have no doubts I'll stay dry!

The day I received mine (Saturday) I hanged it up. Today is Monday and it is still up, don't want to take it down just in case I get a chance to lay in the hammock under it.

for the extra $15 i think its well worth it and can be used for a multitude of weather conditions, i use mine in the dead of winter, and it really doesnt weigh much more than the tadpole. Its a go to tarp for me. but I've been thinking about picking up a tadpole because i wanna add a set of doors on one side of my big daddy. but we will see.

I love my BD Tarp! Put a rip in it my third night out though, patched it up with some silicone caulk and some scrap silnylon that Marty was kind enough to send me. Now it has character!

Yes a great place to hang, plenty of trees on the property. I will take any volunteers to help me blow leaves in the fall. :)

Had my Big Daddy set up in the backyard for a week now. The tarp experienced its first rain today. Like a dummy I left a perfectly dry house and went outside and sat under the tarp. This tarp held up well with no leaks, believe me when I say it is pouring out. Another good thing is that the tarp is getting cleaned by the rain now.
