Had a little get together with my friend Lukesteg at a park near his home to toy around with some hiking gear. Luke wanted to put his new HG cuben camo hex tarp up for a first hang and I wanted to show him some improvements I made in my Witch Stand. We did a bit of video too but it will be a while before I can get that edited and uploaded.
I really like the new camo it's a subtle pattern and much darker than what I expected. It has that retro military jungle look I remember from the 60's era tiger patterns. I'm very tempted. :)
The improvement on the stand is going from a wood top rail to a telescoping 3 piece aluminum tube stopped with quick release bicycle seat post clamps. I think this might be a good option for the turtledog stand guys.
