i would love to check out Birkhead some time; it is on my list ..
I can't do this weekend but perhaps we could do something there later?

Birkhead is nice, small but close for me in Raleigh. Trails are easy, I circled the area in one ambling day. I will go back, but until it gets cooler I'll be going to higher elevations.
