he made some great baked beans on the fall hangout:shades:neo
the highlight of the hangout is saturday night.we have a community
dinner.i need and accurate head count so i know how much barbeque to
bring.and its not cheap.i will bring the barbeque and i will also be making
a peach cobbler in my dutch oven.:cool:neo

Pencil me in. I think I'll be able to make it since I don't have to pick up the college student until around the 5th or 6th. Gona have to get that kid a truck to hall all the junk he collects during the year!!!!!!

I have a travel hammock skeeter beater that I have used a couple of times on the AT. I just ordered my first HH and it should be here this weeked. I am a newbie, but willing to learn! :D

That is always a concern. The other problem is that I am a Jeep guy and I'm affraid tht Neo is going to get me all jazzed up about mess''n with my jeep!!!!!!! I had kind of gotten over all that, but it is a hard habbit to break!!!!!!:scared:

He probably will not get to excited about my jeep. It is a Grand Cherokee (ZJ). I traded my YJ several years ago (I still kick myself for that!!!!). It is mostly stock, but I'm thinking about adding some stuff now.:)

I see where ya'll have the BBQ,Cobbler, Tater salad and baked beans covered, What about I bring plates, napkins,cups,plastic forks, knives, and spoons?
If we don't have enough food we can always buy extra stuff.my main concern is an acurate head before I buy the barbeque.the stuff is great and it cost me 7.00 bucks a pound.I don't want to under buy or over buy.the town hohenwald is only 10 miles from the campground. :cool:neo
Kori and I are in for whatever we need to bring, just let us know. We could do cokes/Mt. Dew/tea or whatever (bring your own mixers!). Just a thought, let us know.

I won't be making this one Neo. It is a little close to the Hot Springs hang for me to psych myself up for an 8 hour drive again. I had a good time last year even though I had to leave early. Have a great time everyone. Mule

True... and I'm one of them. I'm actually thinking of switching to Saturday night, just to be in on the feast, but I'd have to drive home that night. It depends on how things go at work and home that week.
I'm happy to help pay for the BBQ, Neo, plus bring something myself, including firewood as always.

I will be leaving my house around 3:30 Friday afternoon. Mapquest says its about 160 miles to Hohenwald, about a 3 hour drive for me. Did we ever get a good headcount so I will know how much stuff to bring?
I hope to head out of Nash Vegas around 1 PM Friday. Hope to arrive at Meriwether Lewis before 3PM.
Hoping to have my new Warbonnet Blackbird by then!
Kori and I are still coming. I hope to get out of town by 5:30 on Friday. We will probably be the ones fooling around trying to set up our stuff for the first (real time) in the dark.:confused:

I am planning on getting there and hanging on Thursday night. Then going and getting my grandson on Friday and spending the afternoon with him then being at the campground with him to welcome everyone in. Rockdawg69, I will be bringing some wood but If you have room and it's not too much trouble you can bring some too. Looking forward to seeing everyone. tnhillbilly
