Hey, going to do the trail and some camping at PK. The plan is to get out there Friday night and come back home on Sunday. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll start posting details as they come up.

If only I had that teleportation machine....

I saw one on Craigslist for the Houston area the other day. When I went back just now to look it up, it was gone without a trace.

Not gonna make it.

Say Howdy to the Possum King for me.

I remember him from the 1970's.

can't due to Disaster Recovery (computer) testing all weekend at work.
I was wondering about the ERL on 7/4 thru 7/7. Seems I got Thursday and friday off.

I got this Flux Capicitor (http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=21)

very cool. PK is a fun place, but have not been there in years.

I did the trail last year. It's a pretty nice trail and the fact that there is free camping along the way is a big plus for me :) Bug Beach is awesome. It's a sandy bottom as far as I could touch. Here's a trip report from my trip last year.

That looks like a pretty good trail. How long was it altogether? I do some some sheep work with my dogs up by Granbury and Weatherford every once in a while and would love to explore some of the trails and do some hanging at parks I've not yet been to. I just picked up my State Park Pass last weekend and did a couple of trails at Colorado Bend State Park. Temps got up to 108. Hopefully, its a bit cooler for ya this weekend.
