I just bought a full SSUQ and was wondering how to care for it. It's my first uq and my first down anything.
Should I hang it up out of the stuff sack when not in use ? How important is it to keep it dry? If it does get wet, what is the best way to dry it?
Thanks for any advice or help
Btw, thanks WL. It is a high quality piece of gear that I can't wait to use.

Keep the quilt hung or laid out flat when not in use--don't keep it compressed in a stuff sack. I try not to get mine wet, but if it does, I put it in the dryer with no heat and three clean tennis balls. I have washed a down quilt with special down wash in the bathtub and dried it in the dryer. Never store a damp quilt.

Congratulations!
I keep mine very loosely bagged in a pillow case.

Would you explain this further to me? It sounds intriguing.

Thanks,
