No offence to the fellas here, but I was wondering if there are any "girls only" hammocking groups in N. TX? I know there are plenty of us around, just not sure if there's an actual group that gathers from time to time.
my wife might be very into that

I suggest that you propose a hike and see what kind of response you get.
I'd be in if the timing was right.

I don't know of any girl groups, however, there are a good number of women hangers on here so go for it.
One way to meet several at one time would be to check out group hangs, even if you choose to do so as a day trip only.
Our November event is very family friendly and a great place to meet some folks if you are so inclined.

Might try the Meetup.com in your area for camping/hiking groups, they often have female only groups or at least female only events.
