Chatted with Randy (PapaSmurf) last night about my TBird. So many things to think about other than weight... durability, mosquitos, comfort, length, etc etc etc. I might wind up going with a dual layer 11 footer.

11 foot is nice for us taller people.I also think there is a lot of options for the double layer. I think you will love that choice.
