Anyone have any Hydropel the want to sell.
Love that stuff but seems to have gone off the market.
Have only a wee bit left.
Thankee.

Shug, tried any alternatives? I like using cycling chamois creams for anti friction and chafing. I have had very good results both on the bike and on a hike.

Not sure if this helps ya or not, but I use SportSlick ( http://www.sportslick.com/ ).

Works great for me, and from my understanding (info gathered from BPL) it works almost exactly the same as Hydropel. You can buy the small tube as a trial to see if you like it or not, and or will work as you envision.

Good luck on your search.

Would there be a down side to just using Vaseline? I've been using it (new to hiking/hammocking) as Hydopell was not available to me in Canada. Not sure if it's doing any good. But doesn't seem to hurt.

Have a look at BodyGlide Liquified Powder Shug, apparently it's very similar to Hydropel in that it reduces friction and repels moisture, avoiding cracked feet.

There's a normal BodyGlide which I think is a solid stick, avoid this one.

I've never been able to get hold of any of them over here so can't speak from experience unfortunately, I did do a lot of research though and the BGLP seemed to be the one to go for.
