The result of our hang started http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7539 are below:

Click the link below to see photo's of the campsite - Their are also photo's from a 4 mile hike, but I have not uploaded those yet.

Thanks to Mike, Cindy, Alan and Chris for another successful hang.

The two hammocks by themself are both Blackbirds with Snugfit's underneath. A MacCat Spinn UL tarp protects one while a Hennessy Hex Fly protects the other.

The honeymoon suite has two Hennessy's (Mike can update everyone on the models). No underquilt as they used an exped down mat.

Note the ULA Amigo gravity filter and Aarn bodypack - I believe those are the only new gear on this trip.

Cheers.

Another great hang at Stubblefield and a short recon hike down the Little Lake Creek Loop of the Lone Star Trail.

That's awesome! Of course, he's always going to be an integral part of our group no matter if he chooses a hammock or a tent.

I see some positives and negatives.

Positives:

I would love to see the tarp you pull out that covers you, your wife, and Chris! Wowzers!

Negatives:

I will miss all the cool tents you bring.

Cheers

Now don't go getting tarp envy...

We could actually fit under that Kelty Noah's 12X12 we had over our two Hennessey Ultralight Explorers then there's always the big blue Walmart tarps that we could check into. Realistically we'll set Chris up separate from Cindy and I since our anatomical clocks and snoring volumes are not compatible.

As far as tents go, we'll always have something to throw out at Stubblefield to legitimatize our hanging in the woods.

Hey Counselor... Did you take down the pictures because the link doesn't seem to be working. Did you upload the photos from the hike too?

I'm so jealous, as I sit here on my computer. My DH is sleeping with his CPAP since he has trouble breathing on his own. His heart just can't pump what it needs to and we don't know if he could survive another open heart surgery right now. Anyway, this is my entertainment as his nurse. Glad you guys had fun. I am hopeful that my husband will be doing well and I can get out for the November hang, but for now it is just wait and see. Mike, thanks for those prayers... oops I see this was from April, I thought it was from Friday...

This thread popped back onto the scene from some picture rearranging I think.

Our trip this past Friday of Labor Day Weekend was great and we'd love to have you join us if you can.

The thread may be older but the prayers are current.
