By next Friday I will have worked 19 days in a row. I'm going camping durnit. Can't camp on trail in the National Forests due to Deer Season (not the shutdown). So gonna take a short trip to check out the "Premium Primitive Campsites" at Brazos Bend that look like they have a couple of good trees, at least what I see on the web and Google Earth. Will likely hike the Hale Loop and some of the associated trails round there.
The Park is about 20 minutes from my house, so I'll go home from work, pick up the dogs and head out there, probly get there round 1900-2000. Weather says probability of rain in the afternoon Saturday, so I guess I'll be forced to lay in the hammock and nap while the rain hits the tarp.
