looking for a cheap hammock ($50) for my buddy to get started. he's going out to do a week of my PA section hike with me.
hammock must include bug netting, tarp not necessary

I have an 8.5 Speer (for people over 6 ') available. It's had 25/30 nights use and is still in good serviceable condition. The webbing has been modified (due to frequent experimentation) to include a short loop of cord about 8" up from the hammock attached to the longer webbing. The loop is used as an anchor point for the included ridge line. It's not pretty but has held up for many nights. And it has the netting. $45 plus shipping.
Also, a Speer SPE 4 x 4 (8 wings) for $35 plus shipping that includes 17 various thickness foam inserts.
