My group of 11 backpackers are heading to Colorado in July, we are ready to submit the paperwork for the group campsite permits. We are starting at the North Inlet and heading out. we have 7 of the group that love to use their hammocks and have been on many excursions in the Ozark's. The following are the nightly campsites recommended by the ranger:
By night
1) Summerland Park campsite
2) North Inlet group
2a) drop bags and hike to lake Nanita &Nakoni
3) July
4)Tonahutu group
5 )Big Meadows
Are these sites capable of supporting hammocks? I heard Summerland would not. We would hate to take the tents
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and a photo source of the campsites would be great. last but not least are the individual campsites close enough if we cannot get the group sites?
