My Freebird with matching bugnet have arrived, and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality in craftsmanship!
I have yet to take it for a test drive, but I should be able to in a couple of days. I can't believe I'm finally entering the world of hammock camping!
Very Excited!!! :boggle:
Thanks PapaSmurf!
Congratulations! I've been looking at the Freebird myself as a good lightweight no-net option when the bugs aren't out. Is the actual weight close to that calculated on the website?

I don't have a scale, but in the box with both items and suspension, it weighed 1lb9oz, so I think it would safe to say yes. :)
Feeling it by hand, the box it came in feels like it weighs the same as the hammock (1.1 sl) with suspensions.
Seriously though, this is a professionally made piece of gear. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dream Hammock.
Exact one I'm looking at...congrats again, and enjoy!

I tightened it before taking the pic, so I think I had a better angle to begin with (I don't know why this pic is so much smaller?).

I still think a little more sag will do me good. It was snowing, and not as bright, so the pictures aren't as clear.
