I have been doing some research on a new tarp for winter/weather. I live in Wisconsin and was thinking about going out for a weekend. Temps could be 0-30. I have looked at the warbonnet superfly, Mac Cat 4 season, Hennessy Monsoon or typhoon. Now I'm just confused.

Any specific questions??

I started with, and would be willing to part with, a Grand Trunk funky forest tarp for winter. This might help a little.http://theultimatehang.com/2012/10/pitching-the-grand-trunk-funky-forest-tarp-for-all-weather/

Coverage is the key, doors are your friend. Get the tarp that appeals to you the most as there are a LOT of options.

You should go to underquilts.com and send them an email, tarps are not listed on the site but they make custom sized tarps with or without doors to fit anybodys needs at a very reasonable price, the quality and craftmanship is outstanding and the customer service is great, i own 2 tarps now from there and could not be happier. Check out the video of my tarp

take a look at "old man winter" tarp from wilderness logics. used it all year so far, and whiskeyjack took it to the FBH and loved it as well
