Vacation to Great Exuma

I know it's a long shot, but are there any of y'all living in Great Exuma in The Bahamas. We'll be there for a week starting on Wednesday, hammocks are already in the bags.

How did your trip go? Planning to head there with friends in the early spring and would love to know that it is a hammock friendly zone!

Trip went great, never found anywhere to hang, but really enjoyed being there.

Didn't go to Exuma, but the parts of Bahama's that I did see had some semi wild areas with pine trees suitable for hanging. Catch was they were all in mosquito infested areas. For once I was glad I left my hammock at home. If anyone finds a good alternative please post it.

Thanks for the insight. I will toss in the bug net when I go, and report back in a few months. One person that I am planning on traveling with has spent an impressive amount of time on the islands. Hopefully that will mean an insider's guide to sleeping outside!
