I see that there is a sub-forum for long distant hiking. I'm wondering why there are not more for other types of camping with hammocks? I'm mostly a canoe camper/wilderness treker and the considerations seem a bit different (even though there is alot of overlap) than that of long distant hiking. I supose that car campers would have even more options than most too. Just a thought. Is this something a moderator would have to make or could it be user developed?

Click the "Become a Donating Member" on the homepage. There are several pre-packaged donations, or you can donate any amount you want. I don't think there is a minimum to get access to the "Members Only" sections. Plus, all donations go to support the site.

The minimum is $10 per year and all proceeds go to supporting this web site.

That will teach me to not go back and check the facts. The Troll has spoken.

It's the best $10 any hanger can spend. All the resources, knowledge and entertainment make the annual $10 donation a bargain.

It's about time I become a donating member. I have found a lot more than $10 worth of information and resources on this site over the last year.

Thanks HF! :-)
