Hello everyone, I recently bit the bullet and picked up a Hammeck Netty, I went with a 11 ft long, double layer Argon 1.6. First things first, I emailed David at Hammeck and picked his brain a little about the different options he had, He was extremely helpful, and very quick to reply. At the time he was only offering whoopie slings, But I was interested in having the Dutch cinch buckles, and Dutch clips. He was more then willing to switch out the suspension for me, And now he is offering it as a choice, Witch I think is great, they are very simple and work like a charm !! Once I made my order I received my hammock within about 1 week, He kept me updated on the process and even sent pictures once it was complete !

I haven't got a chance to hit the woods with it yet, and probably wont for at least a month, But I did throw it up in the back yard... I looked over the hammock and David's craftsmanship looks excellent, I don't really have any experience with hammocks, but once I got in and laid down I immediately found the sweet spot I have read so much about. I am 6'3 and 265 lbs. I felt like I was getting a very flat lay and I was very comfortable !

All and all I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the crew at Hammeck. There price point is excellent. And the product quality is excellent. If you are looking for excellent customer service and a great product I really suggest you give http://www.hammeck.com/ a chance. You wont be disappointed !!

Thanks sjjbib! I just can't take all the credit for myself, though... Mom made the body of your Netty, as well as nearly every other Hammeck!

It looks like you figured everything out just fine, but feel free to check out our instruction videos (www.hammeck.com/instructions/) - I have one for using the cinch buckles and another for the Dutch Clip.

Opps sorry for leaving your Mother out ! Now that you mention that I also received a email from Meckelangelos mother giving me a update as well ! They have a well run family business !! And I also noticed your new videos !! I only have 1 tree in my backyard, so I had to go over my fence to a tree branch on my neighbors lawn !!

We can't be held responsible for any trespassing of our products! :P

You have one more tree than my wife and I. We have eye bolts deep into the studs in our spare bedroom for testing and also for personal use.

Anyway, thanks again for the kind words, we really appreciate them!

Don't worry I wont hold you responsible, My neighbors and I get along great ! I like the eyebolt idea, I own a duplex, and I have a room with wood paneling, I plan on sheet rocking it... Might as well put some eyebolts in !!

I wish I had seen this before I got my first hammock. My hammock that I have now is fine, but this one looks much nicer for not that much more than I paid for the one I have now

Hey, a GT SBP is still a decent enough hammock. My wife and I used them for our first backpacking trip together. It'll make a good first hammock that should last a couple years, at least.

Welcome to HF! Just keep us in mind in the future when you're looking to upgrade!

Love this hammock. Mine is the 40 d multi, here it is in my backyard. Can't say enough about the comfort of this hammock.

Another +1 for Hammeck right here. They made a custom 9' Netty for my son. I can't wait to give it to him! The service was great, and the quality of the hammock is excellent. Definitely recommended.

Just noticed that a few people chimed in recently, It doesn't surprise me to see others so pleased with hammeck.... I am actually headed out Friday for a fishing trip, I will finally get my first real hang in the hammeck netty !! minus the back yard !

You're not alone.
I wasted my money on a warbonnet blackbird right before I found out about Hammeck hammocks.
I'm about to fix that mistake in the upcoming weeks.

Same goes for me. I ordered an Envy-S and already own a Netty. My blackbird XLC is going up for sale.

I thought about selling my WBBB on here but my wife seems to like it, so I'll give it to her.
