It didn't come with 4 lines, one for each point of the diamond? If no, you will need 2 more lines. If this is the diamond tarp, just measure and figure out if one diagonal is longer than the other. Then take one end ( of the long ridge) and tie it loosely to a tree. Tie the other end to the other tree that the hammock is attached to. Center over hammock. pull the sides out and stake to ground. Lay in hammock, you are done!.

Another way to tell is to look at the points. The side points are sewn on. There is a seam about 30" above the tie-outs.

Any of you tie a ridge line under the tarp to keep it stiffer in high winds?
I took a 50' section of 1/8 nylon and tied it to one end of the fly. I wrapped the one end around a tree twice but then shot back across the underside of the fly and around the other tree and then to the other end of the fly to get it real tight. It also makes the fly have a nice ridge line. Wondering if anyone has any negitive situations from doing this such as water dripping from the ridge line and such.
