    Agreed on the compressability. Not as good as down. I would say the synthetic Ridge Creek is 1/4 bigger than a similarly sized down quilt when compressed.

    All my down gear smells a bit like wet dog when it gets damp, even just from high humidity. You get used to it, and it goes away when it's actually dry.
