About 18" of shock cord with mitten clips. To close the doors I clip them to the corner stake lines. They overlap a bit and make it quite snug.

Superfly door closing
Ok so what I’m picturing is facing one end you right door has shock cord going to the left stake and vice Versa? What size shock cord?
