Shock cord inside channel

Question here, I'm diy an underquilt and I want to adjust it in the middle of the hammock with a shock cord.

If I'm in my hammock and lightning hits one of the trees, do I get executed? I'm not aware of any data on the subject, so this is just me theorizing:
