I tried out my flight jacket last night on the trail. Weather reports predicted 42 degrees with 10 mph winds. So I added my JRB overcover and wore a down jacket. I also used Insultex UQ.
I was toasty warm, could have left out the down jacket but I slept too soundly and woke up at 7am.
