Great video. Clears up some questions I had.
How big a piece of fabric did you start out with and how big was the finished sack?
I hate to be so unhelpful with my answer, but the short answer is I don't remember. Seems like it was maybe a 20"x25" piece of fabric or maybe 25" square. Finished product, which I currently cannot find, was roughly 8" diameter by 12-14" tall. Again, sorry for the bad answer. Chickenwing Hammocks has a stuff sac calculator I believe if you're trying to make one a specific size.
I looked at the pictures and the video and it looks like the original rectangle for this stuff sack tutorial was 26'' by 20''. If you look at the piece laid out on his green cut board you see a ruler under it. The material is sitting just past the 5'' mark and just past the 24'' mark and the board looks to measure 24x24 and the fabric is just longer than the cutting board measurements. Hope this help as it is close but no cigar.
great video. I've made some stuff sacks before but I like the barretts idea thats much easier. Going to store now but I'll try and find some hopefully not pink. Thanks for taking the time on the video.
still dig this design,...little time consuming but wow does it make a nice sac. i suppose it would help if the cutting table was in the same room/level as the sewing machine.
