I switched to JRB shock/self tensioners on the tie outs on my cuben. I loop the tensioner end onto the ground stake. I have a loop/prussic up at the D-rings on all four corners. Adjustment from under the tarp then.

I love my Titanium Dotch Clips. Just easy.
The TarpFlyz are genius and I used them but when I have to move them on the line I need my cheater reading glasses as they are very smell. Thus I went to Dutch Stingerz to try and I found that I really like them. Easy to see as well but they do stay in one place.
Shug
Minus the JRB tensioners, this did cross my mind actually. Alternatively I thought of using the Flyz right by the d-rings and doing the same thing essentially - but this involves using twice the line now that I think about it.
Can I ask why you went to the tarp tensioners specifically for the cuben?
Here's a thread where I recently posted examples of using some DutchWare gear you're talking about:

Hope it helps!
Just when I had made a decision about going with a CRL (such as the one at Whoopieslings). All I had left to decide was the tie outs.
You're illustration is pretty awesome but for some reason I'm having a real hard time visualizing adjusting the tarp to centre it. I think I'm going to have to try your set up with my tadpole using figure 9's in my garage later today to help me understand. I watched the other video on your site using 2 biners and still having a mental block of how it works.
I do appreciate the feedback though.
I tied flyz to my 4 corner tieouts on the d rings. I put a very small loop on my line. To use: After setting my stake I put the loop over the stake and attach the other end to the flyz and tighten it down. I have been in 70 mph winds this summer in the Smokies and it held my cuben tarp great.
Someone please post a picture of this thread and dutchclip thing y'all are talking about please..

Hope it's ok I pulled this from your site Dutch. Top is the "Tarp Flyz" and bottom is the "Stinger"
This is what I was thinking of doing actually. Do you leave your tie outs attached at the Flyz when packing it up?
I have been and haven't had a problem. If I was going to take them off, I'd get the stingerz. They weren't out yet when I did mine.
Black Wolf was doing something similar but he put his flyz on the stake.
