I have spent alot of money in the hammocking community , alot.
Never have I had BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE than with Marty and Wilderness Logics , its nice to feel appreciated by a company its also nice to call a company and get treated like family so anyone on the fence about what product to buy do yourself a favor and go with Marty and Wilderness Logics , you wont regret it . I spoke with Marty day before yesterday, getting ready to drop an order for an UQ, I had a few questions.
I think we gotta be kindred spirits to a degree! Was one of the most pleasant phone conversations I've had in a long time! :)
And after talking with him about what I wanted, I was totally sold. Order got dropped yesterday! Now I'm excited about my foray into the world of 'downy goodness'!!
My first order with WL was for "tarp skins". I got them really fast. They work great. A short time later I ordered a "snipe". It shipped the day after I ordered. I have been using it for a couple of weeks. It's a great hammock. I ordered a summer underquilt last Friday and it shipped Monday. Should be here tomorrow. Great service, great products, reasonable prices. Who could ask for more! :)
I must say that I agree with the sentiment that Marty has top notch customer service. I'd like to add that every interaction I have had with any of the cottage vendors commonly found servicing our fine ham mocking community have been great. Everyone of them has been quick to respond to any and all of my questions. So, on the whole I would have to say that we are a very lucky bunch to get to routinely work with such fine business folks who provide top quality products.
I stopped by Marty's place this weekend to pick up a bug net. I had called him earlier in the week and asked if he could do a few mods to one for me. He had it done in less than a week. There is nothing better than having WL and Marty in the backyard when you need top notch equipment. I have converted my entire setup to WL gear this year. I am out around 10 times a year with my scouts and everyone that sees his stuff asks for a business card.

Recently placed and received my first order from WL and I am very impressed with......well EVERYTHING! I ordered 12 oz of down and 2 yds of brown silny and Marty even put the silny in it's own little bag! Shipping was super fast and free which is always a plus :D Can't wait to do more business with them in the future!
I'm with everyone else, I did alot of research before picking my first hammock, I decided on sending emails to check for turnaround time, Marty replied within minutes, literally, I placed my order on Wednesday and it arrived on Saturday!!! He even wrote a little note on the order slip " How's that for turnaround? Marty " I am OVER impressed with the workmanship, attention to detail and well stoked about the whole ordeal. It's nice to know that people still care about their customers. If or when I decide on getting a UQ it's a no-brainer, I'm going to Marty @ WL Hands down!!!
