Overnight on Mt Rainier (photos)
Coil, Zugcat, Jackleberry and Myself really wanted to play in the snow and take the new pulk sleds out to play. So the 4 of us met up on Mt. Rainier, purchased our permits and parked at Paradise. We snowshoe'd a few miles into Reflection Lakes and made camp.. It was nice and clear on the way in and ran across many people that were interested in the sleds and how well they worked (Made me happy). It got pretty windy as we were setting up but luckily it faded out later in the night. Lows temps were around 20 degrees and we got 1-2 inches of new snow. It was a fun evening of scotch and jokes before crashing out..
This was Jackleberry's and my first time up on Rainier.. Beautiful place.
Much closer than I expected it to be.
