Stargaze question for you. You able to bring you coffee bean and the little coffee beans and the telescope all in that jeep of yours??? Lol

Re: OFFICIAL June 7-9th NEHHA Hang planning thread
Oh, it's Nicky's birthday weekend too. She didn't want me to say anything....too bad for her ;)

I'm pretty sure my daughter won't go. She's not a fan of sleeping outside. I can always strap one of the boys to the front bumper, with a helmet and goggles(safety first), to make room for it.

Stargaze sounds good to me. Strap a go pro on him so we can watch. Lol
Old soldier are you asking us to embarrass her by singing happy birthday? We can do it.

Interested, may bring Henry along as well.
Wondering if this will be a hike-in or drive-in hang.

McRat this will be a car camping event. We will be able to get really close to location to bring in all the heavy stuff.
Henry is more than welcome to come along. I know my three boys will be coming. Ages 15, 13 and 8. And Stargaze and Coffee Bean will have their son as well.

Hey guys the location has been confirmed. For lack of other scoped out places we are going back to the Chesterfield Scout camp in chesterfield Ma. This is the same location as the winter NEHHA hang. I will be scoping out other locations for later dates so that we will not have to have back to back repeats. As we get closer I will post up the coordinates again for those that haven't been there before. This time we have the WHOLE side of the camp. There is a wedding happening on the other side of the lake so that side is off limits. Please check the sign up sheet in the first post to put your self on the list.
Oh Yeah this is also my 1,000th post Whooooo Buddy. Lol.

The one thing we do need to worry about is there is a wedding happening on the other side of the pond. That is all. Carry forth.

I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Lol. It's ok if we stay on our side and they stay on theirs.

Chaps and kilts! Have mercy.
What type(s) of items will be acceptable for the raffle?
-
OFFICIAL June 7-9th NEHHA Hang planning thread
I should have two more hangers in June - my youngest daughter (20) , trail name "Ewok", and her college roommate. They plan to be groundlings, but I am bringing an extra WBBB in case, for conversion purposes.
This should be epic!

I would say things of good quality and be something that you yourself wouldn't mind winning. Doesn't have to be high priced but useful. If anyone else has anything else to input on this feel free.

What rabbits? We didn't see any rabbits, let alone eat them. All we saw was explosive goat. :D
-
OFFICIAL June 7-9th NEHHA Hang planning thread
C'mon.... It was only 'explosive' if you ate it.

This is NOT an accurate statement. Nobody could eat it so it was explosive IN the fire.

Don't forget that anyone is welcome to check out our location for a hang sometime later or if a booking falls through. We have private land on the mt cardigan trail system in nh.

I was planning an A.T Hike in June, but a conflict arose for the week I was planning (Go Figure :cursing: ). So I'll plan on attending the Hang instead. My son won't be able to attend, do to school and Lecrosse. I see Bill is bringing his Coleman Stove, I can supply a second if needed.

We are glad to have you. Since we are car camping, you might want to bring the stove just in case. I am sure many others, myself included, will have stoves to use and share. I expect we will eat very well....as long as Skypainter doesn't grace us with another specialty!!

As too the equipment I am sure we will probably be cooking more this time around than last due to the warmer weather. I will also have to troop trailer again so whatever that comes with we will be able to use.

Fishbait we would love to have you. Looking forward to this gathering that is for sure.

===> I may take you up on that offer! I will be getting a motorcycle in June, and will be using it to make forays into the Whites, Maine, and Vermont, and searching for places to hang/fish/hike!

I heard back from the Boss, looks like I finally have a free weekend to go camping. Now to get the 7th off from the employer :D I'm planning on bringing Jambalaya, just so you understand I like my Jambalaya like I like my Chili. So with that said. Does anyone object to spicy food? I'm talking Jolokia Hot aka the Ghost Pepper.

I am ok with you bringing it but I don't do real spicy/hot food. I am sure that others will take you up on it.

Oh rats... I'll be hanging in Smokey Mountains during this hangout... Hope there's another this year in the East in my area (PA)! I may consider hosting one on my private land sometime...
