If money was no object... One of everything from each of the vendors... But since that's not going to happen...
Luckily, I learned long ago that it's cheaper in the long run to get the right stuff, that you want, right up front. That, and the ability to sell some things here on the site to fund other purchases, has provided me with a near perfect setup (only thing I still need to fund is a cuben fiber tarp).
I'm also always experimenting and tweaking in small ways, but the following is what works for me.
Summer Setup (typically backpacking)
Hammock: Darien UL, 11 foot
Tarp: HG Cuben Fiber 4 Season Tarp, modded for side pull-outs to be at the RR spreader bars
TQ: 20* extra wide Burrow
UQ: 20* Incubator
Stove: Ti-tri Caldera Cone w/ 12-10 stove. Swap out for Soto Micro-regulator canister stove when alcohol stoves aren't an option.
Cook kit: .9 liter Titanium Evernew pot and long-handled titanium spoon (I typically go with freezer-bag cooking)
Winter Setup (when I can use a pulk or car to get my gear around)
Hammock: RidgeRunner
Tarp: HG Cuben Fiber Winter Tarp
TQ: 0* Burrow
UQ: Winter Full-length Lynx
Stove: Primus Omni-fuel Ti
Cook kit: Set of MSR Pots/Pans

O boy, a man can dream can he... because once I type this, there are other reactions that got me thinking... mmm why not that quilt or tarp or ...

Winter setup would pretty be the same...living in So Cal, the winter weather here rarely drops below 0 and I think with the proper clothing layering system, the selected TQ and UQ combinations would work just fine.
If money was no object I would buy plane tickets and go hang with a dozen or so members of the forum, then go home and make gear. (Am I allowed to spend some of that free money to hire people to help me finish my workshop? I'm a very slow builder.) :)

The only thing I would change...Buy a mule to carry my pack, and that mule, my fiance, my dog and I would travel the world hammocking in the most remote places.
I'm about to cheat a little. If money were no object, I'd be able to not work but instead spend some of that time making all my own gear, make it really well, and then travel all over with it.
I'm pretty happy with my gear as is, so I would rather spend my new found fortune traveling to some of the group hangs and meeting some of the most awesome people on earth!
I would DIY everything.
Buy a new profesionalsewing machine, loads of Cuben fibre and tape, bags of 900 siliconized down and lock myself away in the new workroom with massive work tables.
My gear is pretty spot on and awesome now that I have everything dialed in. I would change my Imusa to a titanium pot.
The only major thing I would change is I would get a second Husky for the trail. :D

If money were no object..I'd find a way to commission a workable two person bridge hammock and all the parts and pieces that would have to be re-engineered to outfit it. Someday I'd like to lie in a Clark Vertex to see how it feels.
