Hi, I'm Turtle2
Hello to all. First confession. I am not a hammock hanger---yet. I know and like quite a few people on the forum. We (my husband Stealthman and I) attended last weekend's hang at Meriwether Lewis and enjoyed trying out several different hammocks, thanks, guys. So I am going to try hammocks again hoping it will be more comfortable.
A bit about me. I hiked the AT in 2006, tenting and using the shelters and enjoy being outside. It was loads of fun and I wish my schedule allowed an other long distance hike.
I look forward to learning more about hanging and perhaps finding a comfortable hammock.

hey from high point nc and welcome to Hammock Forums.
the kind folks here are among the most knowledgeable in the hammock world.
i'm not one of those knowledgeable people so this site is a good reference library for me.
"ask and ye shall find" really applies here. that's what i do.
welcome and have fun.
