If theres enough interest (more than 3 or 4) I might be inclined to put together a dinner, an overniter or weekender for the purpose of comparing tips/tricks/techniques/gear/comraderie.
If youre interested, please post your preferred type (dinner, overnite, weekend).
I'm not in AL, but I might be able to make it depending on where/when. Someplace like Bankhead NF might be ideal. Being the largest wilderness east of the Mississippi River, there's no shortage of space and trees. :) Depending on the group size, it would be a shame not to do at least an overnighter, IMO.Quote:
