here it is in all its glory
Really enjoy my DB! Here are a few pics in Camo mode and one with the Black Momentum. The Black Momentum is really a benefit to sleeping well when the moon is full and the nights are cold here in the mtns.
Thank you Randy (aka PapaSmurf) at www.Dream-Hammock.com
Been meaning to post this one for a while, and only recently got around to taking a shot. We were out camping at Huntsville State Park, and the lighting was just right to really show off the colors. You'll also see the shock cord & carabiner rigging I used to snug up my underquilt. Took the setup down to 38° so far!
Loving my Dangerbird 72 -- it's by far the most comfortable sleep I've had. Having hung a couple wall brackets in the livingroom, it's also my usual hangout for watching TV and visiting with folks at home. One nifty thing I've found I can do -- since I'm not using the tieouts in the house, I just bundle them up, and slip them through the loops at the edges of the hammock! I just keep finding neat new features!

I've got the same.
Wow space weasel i like that night grid too! is that a single layer?
I've seen the night grid sample on his website, but I've gotta say it looks mighty fine all dressed up and ready for the party.
Just a few quick pics of the new Dangerbird, shot some video of it and will get out in the woods and shoot some more and show it off....sometime.
Thanks Randy I am glad that I took your advice and got the 60, for me if feels perfect!!
Now all I need is an underquilt-topquilt-tarp-backpack......the list goes on and on.

Thought I would show my bird:D
Hope you enjoy it,.,.,,..,:boggle:
Wow these are great.
This thread really helps because you can't just look at one or two photos of a "standard" DangerBird and get the whole story. Each one is just a little different.
Now, I have to ask the question I'm always asking folks. :)
So hey, can I use your photos to help folks with their future builds?
Sure you can use mine Papa Smurf
No problems from me brother. If I ever get out any more (too busy) I'll try to get more and add them.
So i was looking up hammock socks and everything hammock and didn't really look at Dream Hammocks Hammocks because i have a Hennessy that i have been happy with for the past 7/8 yrs. Am i correct in seeing the bugnet and sock are interchangable and always connected? This is very interesting! Maybe it has been done but what about a zip in rainfly instead of having a tarp. You could just create overhang fabric and the zip would be below the overhang fabric. Just a thought, I keep dreamin up ideas, too bad i dont know how to sew, or maybe thats good because i would probably trash a lot of good fabric trying new things. :D
