Welcome from memphis
Wow. I've had a hammock for a few years, but recently found HF and just started some DIY projects. I'm impressed. Welcome from Augusta GA.
Welcome to the forums. You have really hit it off on the deep end of DIY. I love it.
Do you have any other projects in the fire or trips planned?
I have a trip planned for around Christmas time where I'll be going to Florida to do some SCUBA diving. I'm hoping to stay at one of Florida's State Parks now that they've become hanger friendly.
As far as DIY projects, I'm in the middle of finishing up a hot pink and white DIY WBBB with matching hex tarp, IX UQ, and climashield TQ. I'm about 70% done and hoping to finish up sometime in the next week or so. After that I'm going to tackle a full length winter down-stuffed UQ and also a down TQ. I've also contemplated attempting a backpack and will probably order some extra material from Scott at DIYGearSupply on my next order to have on hand in case I decide to try the backpack.
Yeah I plan on putting a post in the DIY forum once I finish it all up.
As far as the diving, I got my basic open water cert several years ago and plan to eventually get my advanced open water. Since most of my diving has been in the Key West area the basic open water has been adequate although sometimes I feel restricted by the 60 ft depth limit.
Welcome from the other side of the Reservoir (Madison). It looks like you have been bitten full bore by the hammock bug. We should meet up and check out projects and ideas.

Your DIY skills are phenomenal! Welcome to the forums, from Ohio.
Well howdy neighbor!
Yes I have definitely gotten caught up in this whole hammock addiction. Most of my camping is done while traveling around on my bike and having the hammock has made is so much easier. I sleep better and cooler in the heat of the summer plus the hammock packs much easier on the motorcycle than tent poles did!
I would enjoy meeting a fellow hanger since we're definitely in the minority in this area. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone locally setting up a hammock although I feel that hammocks make camping much more enjoyable in our hot, humid weather.
