What ever is fixed for breakfast will be fine by me. I'm not picky:)
And yes, I'll help. But I'll wait to see what others volunteer to bring or do before I jump in.
Gumbo, I'm sure your other ingredients will be covered as more people get involved.

I think a peach cobbler in the dutch oven might be in the offing for Saturday night. Unless of course someone has a special hankering for blueberry or apple. I might as well plan this like a Scout camp out!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I'll bring my extra 2Q/ZQ Mod 3 Hennessy hammock and an extra OES SpinUL tarp and a Warbonnet Superfly in camo to setup for display.
Don't forget your chairs!!!!!
Any kind of dutch oven cobbler sounds good to me:)
Yes, chairs will be needed.
That modified Hennessy & any other extras will be good. Visitors will have a chance to see a few of the many options available for modern hammockers.
As I think about how those kind of weekends go, I'm going to make a suggestion. Please share your thoughts.
For the Hammock Demo we will have to take what ever we will use in our demos from the camp ground to the festival area by car, then take it back to camp when we are through. So I'm thinking we may want to keep it fairly simple.
Also, I'm not sure how close we will be able to get by car (or whatever) after the festival begins, but I'll find out soon.
So my suggestion is that we plan to set up & demo the hammocks, etc for a limited amount of time on Sat. If we have several hammock folks that can switch off on the demos, others will be free to roam the festival attractions or whatever.
I'm thinking maybe 11am till 5pm. Thoughts? Lets talk:)
We have a double burner coleman stove we will bring, also thinking about cooking up a pork shoulder in the dutch oven for part of dinner. Pulled pork anyone???
I've made one trek to Grayson Highlands this year! You guys keep talking about dutch oven cobblers and pork shoulders and I may have to make another one!!
Think you are on the right track Slowhike. If need be, I'll have my pickup so we could load everything and make one trip down to the demo area.
I am currently planning on getting there on Thursday afternoon (late) so that I can get an early read on site issues, plus I hope to see the highlands without fog, rain, clouds, and 50 knot winds for a change.
