True TH. My username is mistaken for a male quite often!
Lady hanger here. My friend and hiking buddy, also female, hangs too. Husbands don't. I don't even remember the last time mine camped!
I'm suspecting my granddaughters will become hangers as well. They love their daddies conventional hammock and are itchin' to try out Me'me's hammock soon.
We are planning a family camping trip this summer sometime. It will give my grandies a chance to check out my hammock.
I started hanging last year and I'm loving it so far.
I'm a female hanger--and now I've converted my partner to hammock hanging, so that's two of us, although she just reads over my shoulder on the forums / patiently listens to me rattle on about my next hammock idea.
So far I've made three DIY traveler hammocks for female friends in St. Louis... You should get something for converting family members / friends to hammock hanging, don't you think?
;)
Thanks so much to everyone for all the great info, vid's (Shug!), and patience with my orders!

I've just joined a BSA Venturing group (gun shooting type) and we're headed out this weekend on our first camping trip. Would you believe that of the adults going, 3 male & 3 females. That all 3 females are hanging and all 3 males are staying in cabins!! Ya think the females have learned something that the males haven't quite got yet???!!!!! Me and another of the females are also bring extra hammocks to let the crew members try out hanging.

Female hanger here. I love my blackbird, incubator and Brandon TQ. Has kept me warm without a pad below zero at 6000 ft+. I can't believe I'm actually ready for a summer quilt. Spring has arrived:D
